Hello there, readers! With kind permission from Tranzgeek, I will be moving those chapters that I’ve translated over to my own blog. The chapters will follow the new chaptering so do expect some changes in terms of the chapter numbers (as talked about previously). -Thank you 12 for this chapter !!! very very much I knew this chapter wouldnt be disapointing because we arrived midway
-the illustrations of this and the prvious chapter looks like connected
-I kinda feel just a little surprised because YY is like QS when she was younger they have similar taste in everything even in men and i knew it because he dispeared just before she met her and after MH the obstacle for QS it is PJ turn to give a hand in their relation progress (about QS and YLK) because he is a key in this novel maybe without him QS wouldn’t gone up to the villa and their relationship wouldnt move forward he is the key that made this novel progress and maybe he will be the cause of her distruction
-I am just so curious about what YLK will reveal to her
-And let’s see if she was just uneasy or anything else
-there is a sayin in frensh “la goutte qui fait deborder le vase” it means that when you bottle up a lot of problem it will come a time when everythig will burst out let’s see if she will learn her lesson by being too pridful in behalf of her health (it’s seems i have also a lot of bottle up feelings for this chapter XD )
-Oh! YLK seems worried ❤ ❤ i hope she is just unwell or tired

You’re welcome, Salma ❣ Well, the trailer seems to have stitched the scenes together. I think the bathtub scene in the drama was probably inspired by events of this chapter.
Yesh, it was quite cleverly done. On the surface, their similarities explained why they got on so well and why Qin Sang was so quick to project her own failed romance with Pan Jianchi and try to help Yuping realise hers. That’s why Liankai had to alert her to the possibility that it may not have been as romantic and innocent as she kept thinking.
Hahaha! Oh yeshhh, things are certainly going to bubble over in all four instalments. I look forward to everyone’s reactions then! Thank you for the saying! Very interesting to learn new expressions 😘!

Pan Jian Chi all over again. Never thought QS still has very strong feeling toward PJC. No wonder YLK and QS marriage not working really well. YLK with his attitude and temperament problems, and QS with her cold treatments to YLK.
Curious of what possibly YLK want to talked about with QS, sounds so serious.
And thank you 12 for translate and posting this chapter ;).

In the trailer, Liankai told her he knew she had ‘someone else in your heart’. Come to think of it, we can also say Qin Sang did bring a third party with her into the marriage first, not physically perhaps, but emotionally. 🤔
To me it seems Pan Jianchi still represents the best time of her life (very idealised) versus what she feels is a marriage she was forced into. Of course, now that he’s moved on to another girl, will she finally take off her rose-coloured spectacles?

Ok, Pan Jianchi is such a punk! The only thing I’m happy about in regards to him is that he’s making it quite easy to dislike him. I am totally rooting for my YLK! It just occurred to me that I think QS is really depressed. She seems to have made herself completely numb to everything happening around her and I almost wish that she were more optimistic. She is a pretty dark lead compared to all the bubbly ones that act like everything is perfect eye roll and while I can most certainly appreciate this, at times, I feel frustrated for my babe YLK.
Again, thank you for the hard work 12 and you seriously left me at the end there going like “WAIT! WHAT DOES YLK WANT TO TALK ABOUT????” So evil! Hahahaha…the suspense is killing me and I am looking forward to the next chapter very, very much. Super anticipating it!
Last but not least, when are those heated forced kisses going to happen?! I’m ready for them! Lay it on me!!!!! LOL!

Interesting angle, QR! Maybe the stress of everything was too much for her. Come to think of it, the three leads are quite repressed, hence the occasional eruptions, as Salma mentioned.
Pan Jianchi has a very suppressed personality… For me, he hasn’t quite leapt off the page like the two leads. Kind of ‘flat’ for now.

It comes across as though she never actually considered that he would move on to another relationship. 😌 Maybe she thought he would be devoted to his political cause all his life instead.

Thanks for the fast translation can’t wait for the drama. PJC is such a bad sucker. I don’t think he has any sincerity for YYP. A man who is willing to abandon a woman who would have done anything for him can’t always be a good man. Looks like PJC is looking for status and revenge so QS will be stuck in the middle. Didn’t expect her to be so shocked that she fainted though. It’s been 3 years PJC is not the same man she fell for it’s time she move on now that she is YLK’s wife. Sighhh….I don’t want to see YLK die for QS meanwhile she can’t get over PJC.

Although all the other characters don’t seem to have good morals QS has some questionable behaviors/decisions too haha. It’s frustrating alright, don’t know why we can’t even get one decent character from this novel.

Yep, and I find it interesting that I was also quite taken aback initially by her ulterior motives when she was sweet to her husband. I seem to expect her to remain innocent and sweet but given the cold war they’ve been having, there is always a reason anytime she is nice to him. I think it’s quite a realistic depiction of their rocky relationship at the start.
