Another New Short Story Unlocked! Introducing Ten Years are not that Far~

Heyo guys! Congrats to the five people (and me xD) who commented on the Special Event post, because they are the reason why you are getting your next short story! Shoutout goes to Mcjhee, Dd Ff, Preeta, Evilest Penguin and Jamechi! Thank you so much guys for all your support and kind words!

So since we’ve gotten ten comments on the post, I felt it fitting to release Ten Years are not that Far next.

Many thanks to Ely, as always, for fixing the chapter up and making it beautiful!

Raws Synopsis:

“Can’t you just try liking me…even a little?”

“No.”

The two of them, are ten years apart.

Translator Synopsis: On that fated day, Qu Xi watched the suave, young and talented Gu Yan present on the lecture theater in her high school. From then on, she grabbed on and never let go, while he tried his hardest to force her away. In the end, when both of them have been reduced to their lowest points, will he truly repent? And will she accept him again?

Here is Chapter 1~

Translator Comments: This story is quite different from the other short stories I’ve introduced, because Ten Years are not that Far is a story that really makes you frustrated and brings you to tears in the end. It is a story of two types of stubbornness. One type is the stubbornness to chase after other people, and the other type is the stubbornness to reject people. But when these two types clash, an inevitable ‘giving way’ has to occur, which can only happen when both are at their weakest.

I really feel conflicted about posting one chapter at one time, because it will make people hate the male lead, and perhaps curse him in the comments. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I just hope readers will continue reading until the end, because as frustrating as everything becomes, everything will come to a beautiful, heartrending close.
