Calling all Heroes! Subbing Help for Legend of the Condor Heroes

loch-2017

Recently, the newest wuxia adaptation of LOCH took the stage with many new fresh faces! My friend, wuxiarocks from A Virtual Voyage has got a plan to get this drama subbed! You don’t have to know Chinese to help out and anything makes a difference! So even if you’re super busy, even one subbed line of Chinese per day helps! So if all of our wuxia fans came together…we would have an amazing team on board to make this happen! Plus, wuxiarocks has got amazing easy and simple directions! You don’t have to be technologically proficient as long as you got wuxiarocks’s personal guide! More information below and a link to his website!

Make a difference and feel good about it!

Fleeting Midsummer Status Update and Chapters

Mini Status Update:

For the sake of not confusing NovelUpdates any longer, I will no longer be posting chapters here because NovelUpdates always puts up two chapter links per chapter (one for volarenovels and one for Tranzgeek). However, links should be going towards Volarenovels.

I will continue to update the Table of Contents so if you don’t feel like subscribing to volarenovels, you can just follow along with my Table of Contents. If the reason why you don’t want to subscribe to volarenovels is because there are way too many notifications that come from subscribing to a site with too many novels, you can pick and choose the subscriptions you want. I have provided instructions for this below if you are totally new to volarenovels.

Thusfar, my schedule is every Tuesday at about 6:00pm, at EST time. Also, I will be releasing sponsored chapters once the rating of the novel over at NovelUpdates goes up. There are 1-2 chappies posted when the rating goes up to 3.0 and another 1-2 chappies once the rating goes up to 4.0. Sponsored chapters may take me a week to post.

In the meantime, I will continue to release Status Updates over at this site whenever I change anything about Fleeting Midsummer (like the schedule) that you need to worry about.

Now that we’ve gotten all that outta the way, here’s Chapter 9!

As for volarenovels, if you are concerned about having to receive millions of notifications when updates from books you aren’t reading are released, there is a way for you to only receive notifications from books you specifically select.

Please note: The below instructions are for people that are newbies to volarenovels and have not subscribed yet. If you have already subscribed to volarenovels for a while now and you still do not know how to do this, I cannot help you :/

Step 1:

If you are not a returning subscriber, you can subscribe with your email at the very bottom of the page. In the lower right hand corner it has an area for subscribing under the “Subscribe” heading. Type your email in the box provided and click on the “Subscribe” button underneath.

Step 2:

In the text: “You may manage your subscription options from your profile”, there should be a hyperlink on your profile.

Click on that link and you will be redirected to  your Subscription page where you can check whatever novels you want to be notified on.

Another Method:

Another method you can use if you are certain you are “logged in” to volarenovels is to type the LINK: http://volarenovels.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=s2

This should bring you to your subscription page.

Now, you can check and uncheck the novels you want to follow!

To Our Youth That is Fading Away is Moving!

After the long, grueling journey with this book, going through part 1 of Zheng Wei’s university years it seems almost fitting that someone else divulge Zheng Wei’s adult years. Let’s just say that although Chen Xiao Zheng was the only character we met in my translations, I still ship Lin Jing and Zheng Wei, partly because of Zhang Dan Feng (Dong Fang Bu Bai), partly because I don’t really like Chen Xiao Zheng due to his imposing nature, his insecurity, and the way he treats Zheng Wei up ahead (as well as a little from their uni years) >_<

Anyways…the exciting news lies ahead!

Reposting WITHOUT Consent?

Let me just start off by saying…I’m a little upset. Unless you don’t want to see us stop posting, you better not post our content without credits. If we see ANYTHING else posted without credits and/or without consent, it is highly probably that we will STOP posting.

Perhaps I should just make it clear that ALL content on this site is copyrighted, whether it be our novel translations, our drama synopsises, or my english subs on YouTube. Thus, you should be crediting the right people and you should NOT be reposting full chapters that rightfully belong on this site.

Status Update

Sorry guys, no update the next few days.

I failed to take into account the fact that I would be all over Princess Weiyoung this week. I’m involved with A Virtual Voyage, a (very prestigious) drama group so unless you see a miracle in which I revive full of energy tomorrow, ready to translate, nothing will be coming out. Today, I was recapping furiously, thus neglecting my HW so tomorrow is my makeup day. Lol. Noice. If you want some Princess Weiyoung recaps, you can find them here: http://www.avirtualvoyage.net/tag/jin-xiu-wei-yang. I’ve recapped until Episode 3 but it’ll be a while until it’s all posted.

My energy level is dipping low because I have literally been a zombie for the past week. I’ve undergone a huge academic raise the past week so I’m happy. Unfortunately it cost me my sleep so I’ll be the walking dead until I make that up.

Anyways, hope to update LI soon and start on WASFIL. Are there any kind souls who would be willing to help out (if there’s any chance)? I would personally like some more hands on board for translating because I’m having trouble keeping up with the workload both academically and translation wise. Thanks for all your support and your patience! Many thanks to all lurkers, regular commenters, and regular likers. I love you guys and hope you guys stick with me throughout this tumultous journey.

Signing off for now.

Status Update, November Goals, Next Two Years-Long Term Plan

This post will cover all the translation project schedules from Siege in Fog to Les Interpretes to To Our Youth That is Fading Away to Fleeting Midsummer to When A Snail Falls in Love (which was requested, really). I want to add an international forum to the site, and also this post will cover my own schedule for the rest of the year and the next two years (or at least until…June 2018?) We’ll see.  Continue reading “Status Update, November Goals, Next Two Years-Long Term Plan”
